Jayne recounted her visit to Egypt in the early 1980s on her way home from the Cannes Film Festival and how profoundly spiritual it was for her feet to touch the ‘Motherland’… a feeling that she had never felt before! Nichols then asked Jayne about her childhood and what wonderful smells she remembered growing up that summoned a feeling of warmth and happiness… feelings that she would love to recreate! This aromatherapy process essentially invokes a vibe that is rooted in the olfactory system. Smells from a welcoming memory, past or present, that gives a boost to your mood. A hayride down a country road that made you feel happy, a celebration that made you feel attractive, a spring breeze that made you feel alive, a winter holiday that made you feel comforted, a home that gave you a sense of security, or a very special person who made you feel loved.
